Refund policy
The Whirlpool returns policy does not limit or restrict your statutory rights under New Zealand Consumer Law.
Damaged or Faulty Products
If any product ordered by you arrives damaged or is not of acceptable quality, you may have:
· legal rights and remedies in New Zealand under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA); and/or
· to have the product repaired or replaced or to receive a refund of the price paid by you for the product.
Any product issues should be directed through the retailer where the purchase was made. The retailer will organise to repair, replace or refund faulty goods at its own discretion and in accordance with the relevant Warranty Terms and Conditions. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact the retailer to notify of damaged, faulty goods or missing components within 14 days of receiving their product(s) to organise a return. If contact is made outside of this time, we reserve the right to refuse a return, exchange or refund.
Returns are at the discretion of the retailer and accepted in line with our warranty conditions. Where applicable, a service technician may be contacted to assess and repair the unit before arranging for the return of a product(s). Please view the retailers terms and conditions for more information.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all accessories, fittings and packaging are included with the return product(s). In cases where parts are missing, the retailer may reserve the right to reduce the full refund amount to the customer.
Customer Returns
Customer returns include any returns that are at no fault of Whirlpool New Zealand, or the retailer. This is including but not limited to customer change of mind or a purchasing error through the fault of the customer.

All product(s) including any packaging, tags, accessories, attachments and fittings purchased from the retailer must be returned in the same condition that they were originally received by the customer.
